As we approach what may be the last month before the amendments to the Energy Bill are voted on, we’re continuing to work on building local support for an Energy Bill with a clear target to decarbonise electricity generation by 2030.
The date and time of the next stall is now confirmed.
It will take place inside Holmfirth Co-op on Market Street (the big one, HD9 7AX) off Huddersfield Road) from 10am-1pm.
We’ll be collecting postcards (Energy Bill amendment postcard) asking Jason McCartney to ‘walk the walk’ on climate change by supporting Tim Yeo’s amendment stipulating that electricity be decarbonised by 2030.
We’re really happy to be at the Co-op as the Co-op is a key supporter of this campaign and other clean energy campaigns. It will also be dry!
We hope you can join us. You don’t have to let us know if you plan to attend in advance, but if you’d like to be informed by text message of any cancellations please email us your name and mobile phone number by 12pm on Friday 12th April.
